Bear Lake: Round 2

My side of the family got to talking about how fun it would be to go camping. We do this every year. "Yeah, it would be so fun! We should do it..." And nothing ever happens. Well, this year, we made it happen. We set a weekend aside and I suggested Bear Lake, because I am familiar with camping there and it is only 2.5 hours max from Salt Lake. Pretty much everybody got off early on Friday afternoon and we arrived there by around 5:30. We chose the busiest time of year to go...Raspberry Days. So anywhere you could reserve a site had been booked since spring. We took our chances and ended up camping at Cisco Beach. There was PLENTY of space available, and plenty reason why...NO running water, NO flushing toilets, NO showers, rocky campsites and no sandy beach...the water was SO HIGH this year, we were basically camping on the shore. We still went knowing this would probably happen, and it worked out just great! Once we got there and got all of our tents set up we headed to Le Beau's: a Bear Lake MUST. We didn't go to Bear Lake for the Raspberry days, but we still benefited by consuming FRESH raspberry milkshakes. Believe me, it makes a HUGE difference. SO GOOD.

Owen and Jassy so excited to be camping together.
Thank heavens for aunties! Miles fell asleep like this both nights with Auntie Abby.
The setup: unfortunately we had to squeeze the 3 of us on an airmattress because we lost the cap on the other one. Owen is a wild sleeper, so its a little difficult to not get kicked in the face when you sleep with him. We brought the dvd player and he fell asleep to Megamind both nights.
Saturday we headed to Rendezvous Beach so that the kids could play in some sand. We also rented a wave runner for a few hours.

This marks Pedro's first vacation EVER. We are terrible dog owners. He was thrilled to be with us. My mom and her sisters are all dog lovers, so he was getting lots of attention, treats and walks. I think he enjoyed himself.
We did some casual family shots at sunset. The Seare Family:
The Miera's:
Owen and Jassy, best friends. These two love each other and fight with each other like husband and wife. Hilarious.
