Miles' Birthday Bash

We decided to embrace the summer birthday and reserve a pavillion at the Umbria Splash pad in Herriman. We had a great turn out and lots of fun.

Unfortunately, it was pretty windy, which meant no flame on the candle. Oh well, still pretty cute. I made lots of cupcakes, but Mile's got his very own bundt with blue frosting. I'm pretty sure he liked it.

He was so cute with EVERY gift he opened he would clap. He loved it.
The only actual splashing that Miles did...from a distance. He is still a little young to really love the splash pad, but the other kids seemed to like it.

Miles turns 1!

On Miles' birthday the boys and I anxiously waited for Steve to come home from work so we could get to celebrating. We took the boys to Steve's parent's pool and had a great time. We had the pool all to ourselves, so it was extra fun.
Here is the adorable birthday boy. Lovin the water.
Little Mogely. Ever since he started taking steps, this is the way he has been crawling. It's a funny maneuver.

GG came by and joined us, along with Scott and Cyndee at the pool.
Owen was getting brave and jumping in to be caught.
I love this picture because it shows just how chubby his cheeks are from behind.

After swimming we headed to Scott and Cyndee's for pizza and a birthday cookie. We through his actual party later that week, so I didn't want to spoil the cake. The cookie was just as good.

GG is infamous for her crisp dollar bills...or in this case crisp 5 and 10. Miles was actually really excited. I think it made GG really happy.
After all of that we headed home to open all of his presents from us. Among other gifts, we gave him this little Buzz Lightyear rider. It has taken about a month for him to figure it out, but he loves it now!

Seare reunion

On the 24th of July we had a big Seare family reunion. When Steve and I first got married, he had an Uncle and Aunt, and 3 cousins and their families in Arizona...all Seare's. Since then, all of them but one cousin has moved back to Utah, but sadly, we don't see them any more often than we did before. Steve's cousin Shannon hosted and we had a great time. Of course, Owen was loving on all the girl cousins...namely Abby and Sophie.

Taylor and Suzie were in town from Arizona and it was great to see them and their cute kids. Owen was thrilled to play with Ian and Colton. Owen was loving that there was ANOTHER Ian (see Bear Lake post). There is a total female domination in the Seare family. It is crazy.

Three brothers Seare: Mike, Jeff, and Scott

Here is GG (great grandma Seare) with all of the Great Grandchildren. 15 girls, 6 boys. Missing were 5 girls and 3 boys.

Jassy Turns 3!

Jassy turned 3 in July. She had a "Princess Party" and it included EVERYTHING! She had a bounce house, a pinata, pony rides, and a delicious spread of Mexican food...her tita is THE BEST cook!

Owen really got into character with the pinata...Ironman, of course!

Her Tito, my uncle, got her a Pony. She could not stop giggling. She was so excited. and Adorable.

and of course, Miles got lots of love from his aunties.

Golfing with the Hubs

For father's day this year, among other things, I told Steve I'd take him golfing. I picked the golf course, and the one I chose was Mountain Dell. I've been golfing a handful of times and once I had been there and had a good experience, so I thought it was a good choice. Oh, and it's beautiful! It was a little hot and really sunny...being JULY, but we had a good time. Sorry no pics of me to prove I was there, but if you ask the guy we were partnered with, he'll tell you, I sure was. I apologized to him when we were done. I'm pretty sure I would be most men's nightmare...really terrible. We had lunch at the clubhouse before and Steve said, "I'm just going to say one thing...Pace of Play." Luckily, my husband is really patient, but he will certainly stick to his golf etiquette. I'm glad we went and look forward to golfing with him again next year. Ha!
