I was really looking forward to Christmas mostly so I could put Owen in this adorable/hilarious outfit. It was 100 times cuter than I imagined, and I think the hat completes it. Of course Owen is completely unaware of Christmas and all of that jazz, but as you can see in the 2nd picture the crinkling of the wrapping paper was pretty stimulating. Christmas Eve and Christmas day were pretty exhausting...he is only 3 wks old and I am still trying to get with it, but it was an extra special year with Owen. Hope you all had a holly jolly Christmas!

Steve and Angie
Today is a very special day, the day we get ready for...wait...no. Today is our 4th anniversary. I have such an amazing husband. He has been so caring and loving and unbelievably hands on with the baby. I couldn't ask for more. This year for our anniversary I would say I was given a beautiful baby boy. The perfect gift and such a blessing to our family. I love you Steve!
Happy Anniversary!
Tummy Time!

THE UNVEILING...
After much anticipation here is the grand scheme I call my baby's room. I don't feel the colors are right on the images and don't quite do the room justice, but you get the idea (crazy photographer in me). So...room is all ready and set. Good news, contractions are about a half hour apart, bad news is...not close enough together...next time I post I should have a baby, though!

Pedro
This is our awesome ratdog, Pedro. I just wanted to share with you my future babysitter. He will be the perfect dog to leave Owen with when I need to run to the grocery store, or if Steve and I want to get a quick bite to eat. Ask Sophia and Casi, he practiced with their babies last week and did such a good job!

TAGGED ...again
*How long have you been together? 5 years...married for almost 4!
*How long did you date? Dated for 8 months...engaged for 5 months
*How old is he? 26 and 4 days old.
*Who eats more? Hard to say, I can pack it down for a girl, but sometimes Steve will only eat one meal a day and I CANNOT skip a meal. Its unhealthy.
*Who said I love you first? Steve
*Who is taller? Is anyone NOT taller than me?
*Who sings better? We are both normal good singers...by no means extraordinary...but Steve would love to believe that if he sang his "Backstreet Boys" impression for Simon Cowell, he would SO go to Hollywood.
*Who is smarter? Math...me. Anything else...they do call me the Factoid 2000.
*Who does the laundry? Usually me.
*Who does the dishes? Usually me.
*Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me
*Who pays the bills? Me, it just gives me comfort to know that it is taken care of, not that I don't trust Steve, but I like to know for sure.
*Who mows the lawn? How about the small lawn that we do have has been mowed 1 time, by my dad. We don't even own a lawnmower. When that day comes, It'll be Steve.
*Who cooks dinner? Depends on my mood. I like cooking, but if I don't feel like it Steve is good about it.
*Who drives when you are together? 50/50 we don't care about that.
*Who is more stubborn? 2 scorpios in one household...hard to say.
*Who kissed who first? Steve.
*Who asked who out? Steve asked me out on our first date to MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING...2 days after he got home from his mission...comical.
*Who proposed? Steve, on an airplane. JEEEALOUS?
*Who is more sensitive? Me for sure. I hate confrontation, shouting/yelling.
*Who has more friends? Steve for sure. He has friends from all walks of life and seems to make new friends really easily...he's so likable. Me, I've made new friends here and there and have some really great friends I've known forever (weird that I have been out of high school for 7 years and the oldest friends I have I've known for 17 years)
*Who has more siblings? Steve has 3 brothers. I'm an only child.
*Who wears the pants in the family? Some may beg to differ, but things are equal with us. We certainly don't tell each other what to do.

How about just 6 facts about ME?
So, I am still anxiously waiting for the arrival of my baby and not a whole lot to share with you. I did turn 25 last Friday. Not too eventful, but it was a wonderful reminder that I have lots of family and friends that are loving and caring. I can't say that I feel old, but being 38 weeks pregnant, I can't say that I feel young and hip exactly, mostly because all of my movements (in and out of bed, a chair, the car) are quite similar to that of a 90 year old woman and everything I wear makes me feel a little bit like a slob...pretty much no bottom of my shirts will meet the top of my pants. REALLY ATTRACTIVE. And with that....
I am taking Sophie's informal invitation to post some things about me.
#1 I love love love Joel McHale. He is a genius. "The Soup" (next to Steve) completes me.
#2 I feel like an elephant. My feet have ballooned and I feel like I could be Phyllis from the Office. Eek. I hate to look at my sausage toes.
#3 I ate plates of melted cheese as a child. I am often reminded of this and teased for it. I later in life met my soul mate...a true connoisseur of nachos and all things queso...it was meant to be.
#4 My number one pet peave is people who chomp their gum...close your mouth and chew quietly!
#5 I laugh at anything and everything. This is a good thing and a bad thing. Sometimes I laugh at inappropriate times/things. Other times I laugh at really dumb things, oh, like. say "swingset" and it is all over. I cry often from laughing so hard (see fact #1).
#6 I am obsesseed with home makeover shows...but my VERY favorite is "Clean House." I aspire to one day be an organizational goddess...I feel this day soon approaching or is it falling even further from my reach with the arrival of a child?

I've joined the blogging world...
Apparently, blogging is the latest craze. After much deliberating and peer pressure, I am giving in and have my very own personal blog. My baby isn't here yet, so I don't have anything to really brag about to you, my friends, except of course my ever so awesome disappearing neck, that's right, my face and neck are becoming one. So, I hope to have something worth offering for the next month and then you can count on nothing but baby talk. Isn't that how it is supposed to go?
