Owen is 2!

Owen is 2! I can't even believe it when I think about it. On his actual birthday we got up and I made pancakes and FINALLY put to use the plate I made when Owen he was about 5 months old. We had a lot of celebrations with family and friends...and Owen became a pro at blowing out candles and singing "happy birthday to you..." We had a playdate with a bunch Owen's buddies and did a little airplane theme (I taught myself how to make airplane balloons...now hiring for birthday parties, pool parties, weddings, showers, etc.). He greeted all his friends with such excitement it was so fun to see. I had to post the last picture because I thought it was so funny/cute. His friend/future wife Ella gave him a football. When everybody left he layed down for some quiet time and instead of his usual teddy/elmo/other teddy he snuggled with his new football. hilarious. 2 is so fun...he can pretty much verbalize anything he wants and is getting to have such a sense of humor...

Last night Steve was fake sleeping and Owen was trying to creep up on him and put his BIG TOE on Steve's eyelid. Steve couldn't even stay fake asleep it was so funny. Where did he even get this idea? I love this kid!

Thinking warm thoughts....

January is great...business slows down a little and I can work on more personal things and catch up! We went to California in September with Steve's family. We go every other year and I LOVE IT...I need to move there. I was just going through these and thought I would post a few. Unfortunately our trip was cut short this year. These pics are from our last day and we certainly made the most of it! It was really fun to see Owen have so much fun with his cousins and the ocean.
