Where's Pedro?

Since the arrival of Owen things have changed a little with Pedro and he has become a bit more independent as to when and where he sleeps. It used to be right next to me or on me or whatever worked for him, but I don't allow that anymore. So he curled up in this blanket and and when it was time to go up to bed, he was STUCK! We just kept calling his name to get him excited and he couldn't go anywhere....Hilarious! (i know we are mean)

Dinner TAG

I am always interested and curious to know what other people cook up for dinner. I am tagging YOU if you are reading this than you are TAGGED!! I want to know a really simple recipe that you often whip up for dinner at your house...If you have to think and look it up then you really aren't getting my point...Just post a easy recipe that you frequent...either you learned it, created it or whatever.....here is mine....

Spagetti...
1 lb ground beef browned (optional)
2 cans tomato sauce
1 lg can whole tomatoes
1 packet spagetti seasoning
1 can cream of mushroom (optional, for a creamy sauce)

let simmer for a while for sauce to thicken and flavors blend....Oh and chop up the tomatos with a spatula when they are already in the sauce, this way they are still big and chuncky, but not litterally a whole tomato. For me the whole tomatoes make it.

so I hope that you all take an opportunity to share with me.

thanks!

KITES!

Grandpa and Grandma Hanson have a tradition every year the Saturday before Easter they do kite flying and breakfast. Mind you this family is huge...I counted and there were over 50 people in attendance and not everyone was there. I loved flying kites as a kid and I was super excited to go this year, which is silly because I have a 3 month old... Any way it was way fun and WAY COLD. But fun to see all of the kids having fun...and Grandma Cyndee was a trooper out there running the kites for the kids. Here are a few pictures from the fun morning, unfortunately Owen stayed in his warm and cozy car seat the whole time. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Hanson (with an "O")!

Owen's Awesome Hair

I just wanted to show you this picture because if you have not seen Owen in person in a while...well you are missing out! His hair is growing in so AWESOME. not on the sides or the back...he has either lost it or needs to lose it still, but just on top it is coming in straight up! No hair products were used in the process of this photo. When it first came in it seriously looked like a military crew cut.
This picture is a few weeks old, so it is even longer than this, but this gives you an idea of what is going on. I love it! A baby with a buzz cut, my dream come true.

...and what the heck...here is another favorite....

3 Months Old

I'm happy to say being a mom never gets old! He is changing more and more everyday!
In the last month he...started sleeping an average of 10-12 hours a night, fell in love with his thumb, started watching his fist (refer to the very last pic) and realizing he can make it move! really discovered his voice, started moving his head to follow me around the room, rolled over to his side, got a cold (so sad), grew out of his 0-3 onesies, and has almost made a real laugh (so CUTE!)

I took these just last Friday and these are just of few of my favorite shots, I could post pictures all day long, but I'm trying to spare you the headache.

Poor poor Pedro!

Since the arrival of our pride and joy Pedro has been seriously neglected. Don't get me wrong, he usually gets fed daily. But he is brushed aside quite often, and shouted at even more often for jumping up on furniture and things that belong to the baby. The other day I was playing with the baby and bouncing a stuffed animal on his belly, all the while Pedro is watching. Well, he laid down next Owen and rolled onto his back as if he wanted me to do it to him, too! Here is a picture of just what happened...to good to be true. Poor Pedro. I really love him and he really has been such a good doggie!
